Jeremy Renner has provided a positive update on his health, stating that he's "feeling pretty great" despite facing some challenges upon returning to work following his devastating snowplough accident.
The actor, 53, has been on the road to recovery since the incident on New Year's Day 2023, where he suffered severe injuries, including over 30 broken bones, blunt chest trauma, a collapsed lung, and a pierced liver while trying to help his nephew.
During his appearance on Good Morning America on Wednesday, Renner shared his progress, admitting that he felt "a little dicey strength-wise" when he first returned to work but is now on the mend.
"I'm feeling pretty great. I'm feeling pretty strong. Starting the season this year at the beginning of the year was a little dicey, strength-wise, but by the end of it, usually, you're pretty shattered energy-wise but I feel pretty strong."
In response to a specific question about "stamina or strength" posed by GMA co-anchor George Stephanopoulos, Jeremy said: "It's both. Like the endurance was not very good but I'm better on both ends now. I feel really, really strong and really, really happy."
The Marvel actor shared his inspiring journey of recovery, showcasing a clip of himself running after the accident.
He emphasised the importance of "setting intention and setting goals" and highlighted the significance of agility and movement in his rehabilitation process.
Renner expressed his determination to improve his physical strength and abilities, stating that sprinting has become a crucial aspect of his recovery.
Additionally, he confirmed in the show that he is currently writing a book, which he hopes to complete by the end of the year.
