Camilla Cabello reveals rare detail about her first intimate experiences
Camilla Cabello got candid about her romantic experiences as she navigated the life of fame while being in Fifth Harmony.
The singer, now 27, appeared on the latest episode of Dax Shepard's Armchair Expert podcast, revealed when she had her first time and with whom.
Recalling her romance with ex-boyfriend Matthew Hussey, now 36, Cabello revealed she lost her virginity to him when she was 20 years old.
“That was my first relationship. It was late for my first time,” she told Shepard, adding that she felt very “lonely” during that phase in her life.
“I was like, ‘Oh my God. I’ve never had a boyfriend,’” she said. “There was, like, literally eight songs that were, like, basically, lonely. I am so lonely.”
Shepard, 49, went on to ask if she had in any kind of intimate relations before, to which Cabello said, “No. That was my first-time having s-x. First lovemaking was at 20, 21. … It was literally lovemaking. It was beautiful.”
However, the singer appears to have bond memories of her year-long relationship with Hussey. She noted that Hussey’s experience as a relationship coach “honestly made him a great partner.”
“He was a really great person. It was like the perfect first relationship," she said. "Really expanded my world because he wasn't in my industry too.”
The two called it quits in June 2019.
