'The Boys' returns with vengeance in season 4: Watch trailer
The Boys season 4 premieres on Prime Video on June 13.
The Boys are back, and they're coming for you this time!
The fourth season of the highly anticipated Marvel superhero series on Prime Video has released a new trailer. While Homelander (Antony Starr) is taking his power trip and The Seven to new heights, Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) is in a dark place and trying to rejoin The Boys with just months to live.
With his tail tucked between his legs, Butcher enters The Boys' renowned Flatiron skyscraper in New York City to begin the clip. He opens up about his past transgressions as he begins to embrace some harsh realities.
He declares to the gathering, "I owe Becca my life," as the picture returns to Homelander leaving with the son of Butcher's late wife.
"And all I see are messes I've made and I ain't got time to fix it. I can do one thing right with the time I've got left, and I can't do it alone. I can't do it without you."
Homelander addresses what's left of The Seven as the trailer cuts to a broad image of people assembled in front of Vought headquarters.
"This country is corrupt beyond repair," he says while angry protesters begin to fight with one another. "So we've gotta save it. It's not going to be easy, we're going to have to do some terrible things for the greater good."
"You'll no longer be beloved celebrities, you will be wrathful gods," he continues as his hand grows tighter around a wooden bat. "Show me a little wrath."
The Boys season 4 premieres on Prime Video on June 13.
