Alia Bhatt starrer blockbuster Indian film Gangubai Kathiawadi recently screened at Aero Theatre in Los Angeles.
The director of the masterpiece, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, marked his presence at the special screening of the film and got candid about his approach towards female lead movies.
During the conversation, the critically acclaimed filmmaker shared, "On strong female characters in my films, yes, we come from a land where we worship the goddess."
He added, "I have seen some very, very strong women all my life. Women need to be heard, women need to be seen, and their stories need to be told. They are the creators of mankind. We are all born to be women."
As per the photos shared on the official Instagram page of Bhansali Productions, the theatre appeared packed with the audience enjoying Alia's incredible performance as Gangubai.
