Prince William, who made his first public appearance on Thursday since his wife Kate's cancer announcement last month, has seemingly received cold shoulder from the royal family.

The Princes of Wales, who gave a helping hand loading food and cooking in the kitchen at food distribution charity Surplus to Supper in Surrey, was not sung by his own family as Buckingham Palace remained silent and did not share even a single photo of the future King's outing.

William, who was handed a get well soon cards for his wife the Princess of Wales during the outing,  was "clearly affected by the love and sympathy from the royal fans, according to body language expert Judi James.

"William looks and sounds so touched here as he is given a get well card for Kate. His voice drops to a lower tone and he begins to nod in acknowledgment. He is clearly affected by the sympathy and he responds with a closer proximity and a touch on the woman's arm as a gesture of emotional recognition, empathy and thanks," the expert told the Mirror.

She continued: "He looks like a man who has been in receipt of a lot of messages of affection, concern and care recently."

The royal family's social media accounts could not appreciate the Prince for his bold move amid his wife's cancer battle.

However, the Prince and Princess of Wales's social media accounts shared the picture of William's outing with a lengthy note.

On Wednesday, the Palace shared fun-filled photos of Sophie, The Duchess of Edinburgh, as she joined the Field to Food Learning Day at the Bath & West Showground.

However, the Palace did not think it necessary to share the photos of William's outing and work with the charity staff.
