Royal family deals fresh blow to Prince Andrew

Prince Andrew, who attended the Easter Sunday service at Windsor along with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, has seemingly received a fresh snub from the Buckingham Palace in a new post.

The royal family's social media accounts on Monday shared the pictures of King Charles III, Queen Camilla and other royals who attended the Easter Mattins service at St George's Chapel in Windsor.

However, the Palace did not share any picture of the Duke and Duchess of York, seemingly sending a strong message to disgraced royal with their latest move. 

Sarah Ferguson, popularly known as ‘Fergie’, also joined her ex-husband Prince Andrew and a select group of royals for the much-talked event. It marked the first time the Duchess had attended the service since she divorced Andrew back in 1996.

The Palace shared the photos of King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prinecss Anne and her husband Vice Admiral Timothy Laurence, Prince Edward and Princess Sophie.

The photos were captioned: "The King and Queen, The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal and other members of the Royal Family attended the Easter Mattins Service at St George’s Chapel today."

However, the King and Queen, Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, Princess Royal and Prince Andrew were all in high spirits as they attended the service on Sunday 31 March.
Sarah Ferguson, who made a surprise appearance with sisters-in-law the Princess Royal and Camilla seemingly coordinating in green outfits for the occasion.

Kate Middleton, Prince William and their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis were absent from the royal gathering as the family of five were spending the Easter holidays at home while adjusting to the future Queen's cancer treatment.

The service was a smaller version of the annual gathering, with fewer members of the royal family, as the King has also paused public-facing duties since his cancer diagnosis in February.

It is to mention here that Andrew 'positioned himself as leader of the royal family' at King Constantine's memorial in Windsor last month in absence of the senior royals.
