Sara Ali Khan opens up about resemblance to character in 'Murder Mubarak'
Netflix's thriller Murder Mubarak starring Sara Ali Khan will be released on March 15, 2024
Sara Ali Khan discussed her resemblance to her character, Bambi Todi in the upcoming Netflix thriller Murder Mubarak.
During the trailer launch for Murder Mubarak, the 28-year-old actress was asked about similarities between her and her character, on which she replied that they are quite different.
The Love Aaj Kal actress said, “We are very different, I recognize the privilege that I come from. I think I have a slightly more real upbringing to her, as a result of which, I think I may be more sensitive than she is.”
“I think she is more stylish than I am, and she is also a kleptomaniac, which you will find out. And I am not, or at least I have to say I am not,” Sara added.
Although both she and her character, Bambi Todi, come from privilege, Bambi is unaware of her advantages, while Sara is conscious of them.
The movie's trailer, which premiered on March 5, 2024, depicts a murder that disrupts the tranquility of an elite club, prompting ACP Bhavani Singh, portrayed by Pankaj Tripathi, to launch an investigation.
The suspects, portrayed by the star-studded cast, each harbor their own secrets in this suspenseful tale.
Murder Mubarak is scheduled to be released on Netflix on March 15.
