Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor all set to star in 'Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari'

Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor have teamed up for Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, a romantic comedy produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.

On Thursday, Karan, Varun, and Janhvi took to their Instagram accounts to share a collaborative post revealing the teaser and announcing the release date of their upcoming film as April 18, 2025.

The teaser clip reposted from Dharma Movies hinted at an upcoming love story directed by "SK," likely referring to Shashank Khaitan.

The post was captioned, "A kahaani of ‘Sanskari’ & his to-be ‘Kumari’! This love story wrapped with entertainment is coming to the big screens! #SunnySanskarikitulsikumari in cinemas, 18th April 2025!."

Previously, Pinkvilla revealed that Varun and Janhvi were in talks to work together in a romantic comedy helmed by Shashank Khaitan.

The insider revealed, "When it's Shashank and Varun, everyone assumes the film to be a part of the Dulhania franchise. Over the past year, Shashank has crafted a new romantic comedy with a quirky title."

"And is in advanced talks with Varun and Janhvi to take on the lead roles. It will be a quintessential romantic comedy, staying true to the genre that the Hindi Film Industry has been known for over the years," the source added.
