Deepika Padukone presented the award for the UK-Polish drama about Auschwitz concentration camp
Deepika Padukone recently presented the BAFTA award to director Jonathon Glazer on stage for The Zone of Interest, which is based on the 2014 novel by Martin Amis on Sunday, February 18.
For the event the Louis Vuitton ambassador dazzled in a golden and silver-hued shimmery saree, pairing it with a matching blouse.
The Om Shanti Om actress walked towards the centre of the stage to present the award at the ceremony.
The UK-Polish drama, which is about the Auschwitz concentration camp, dominated the category for the Best Film in the non-English category.
Deepika made a grand entrance at the venue, treating fans with her stunning look. The diva walked through the carpet, signing autographs midway.
Few days prior to the ceremony, the actress took to her social media, expressing gratitude for qualifying as a BAFTA presenter.
Others that were chosen as presenters, include David Beckham, Dua Lipa, Cate Blanchett, Adjoa Andoh, Oompa Loompa Hugh Grant, and Lily Collins.
The ceremony took place at London’s Royal festival Hall, with Barry Keoghan, Bradley Cooper, Carey Mulligan, Cillian Murphy, Greta Gerwig, Christopher Nolan, Celine Song, and Yorgos Lanthimos in attendance.
