Kareena Kapoor believes that she has delivered one of her most powerful performances in the upcoming thriller-mystery film The Buckingham Murders.
In conversation with Forbes India, the Bollywood actress said, "I think it is one of my most powerful performances and I would really want everybody to watch it once for what the film is and I am sure they won't be disappointed."
Kareena, who has also produced the upcoming movie alongside Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor, shared that she lent her name to the film because she is a huge fan of the crime-drama world.
The Jab We Met actress added, "I always wanted to do something that's slightly different. I think it is a coming together of a lot of cultures, we are speaking English, Hindi and Punjabi in the film. It is something that is shot differently."
For the unversed, Kareena portrayed the character of a detective woman in Hansal Mehta's directorial.
Earlier, the actress penned a touching note on her Instagram handle as she shared some rare glimpses of her character Jasmeet Bhamra.
She wrote, "I have been waiting to play Jas for the last 23 years, being a huge fan of the detective series genre… I was just dying to be that detective woman."
Reportedly, the film is set to release on March 22, 2024.
