Katrina Kaif recently disclosed that Malaika Arora was her inspiration during the initial days of her modelling career.
In conversation with Mashable India, the B-town diva shared that she arrived in Mumbai to become a renowned model.
She said, "...my intention was to be a model. My role models were Madhu Sapre and Lakshmi Menon. Those were the supermodels of that time."
Katrina continued, "And even Malaika (Arora) actually. She was still modelling at that time. They were the women I looked up to. And that's what I wanted to be as a model."
For the unversed, Malaika was known as one of the best dancers and models of Bollywood.
Later on, Katrina made her acting debut in 2003 with an action thriller film Boom. As of today, the 40-year-old is known as one of the highest-paid actresses of the Indian film fraternity.
