Vicky Kaushal honors 'Sam Bahadur' director Meghna Gulzar on her birthday

Vicky Kaushal penned a sweet birthday note for Meghna Gulzar, director of his newly released critically acclaimed film, Sam Bahadur. 

The Bollywood actor took to his Instagram handle to drop an unseen dancing video with his source of inspiration, Meghna.

He wrote, "Here’s a little birthday dance with you Meghna… wish I could do it in person today! Everyday on set I’d try to be the most hard working person and everyday you’d beat me and everybody else to it."

Vicky continued, "Will keep trying though… Happy Happy Birthday Sweetie… may you always keep inspiring people around you to give their absolute best!!!"

Reacting to the adorable video, a fan wrote, "What a beautiful way to wish someone."

Meghna's directorial Sam Bahadur is a war film based on India’s first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw.

Vicky garnered an immense amount of love and appreciation from his fans and well-wishers for brilliantly portraying the role of a real-life hero.

The film hit the big screens on December 1, 2023, and is currently running successfully in cinemas across the world.
