Travis Kelce has thanked JR Moehringer, the ghost author of Prince Harry's contentious memoirs "Spare" for his recent extended Wall Street Journal interview on Saturday.
Kelce wrote on Instagram on Saturday, "Can't thank the legendary JR Moehringer enough for writing this piece about my life in the WSJ."
"It was an absolute honour to work with him and my guy @gstyles (the photographer for the interview)."
"I really appreciate everybody that was involved in making this happen!"
Kelce appreciated Moehringer for writing about his recent interview about Taylor Swift and life in the NFL.
While meeting with Prime's Thursday Night Football panel in September, Kelce's brother Jason pled the fifth while discussing relationship rumours between Kelce and Swift.
“I’ve seen these rumors. I cannot comment,” Jason told panelist and retired NFL star Tony Gonzalez, who asked Kelce to address the issue on behalf of his 15-year-old daughter.
“Ever since Catching Kelce everybody’s been infatuated with Travis's love life,” Jason said, referring to his brother's short-lived reality dating show. “I don’t really know what’s going on there, but I know Travis is having fun and we’ll see what happens with whoever he ends up with.”
During an interview with presenter Kevin Negandhi on ESPN's SportsCenter, reporter Adam Schefter alluded to Kelce and Swift dating rumours by utilising Swift's song names.
"Clearly, Travis Kelce, at this point in time, is trying to Shake It Off and get back out there. He knows how much he's needed and that he's The Man."
"It was a little bit of a Cruel Summer for Travis Kelce with that knee injury but he can see the Daylight, Kevin," he continued. "He looks like he's Ready For It. And Travis [Kelce] is now tracking to play on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, despite the fact that he was just limited today."
Kelce discussed his connection with Swift in an interview with WSJ.
"There were definitely people she knew that knew who I was. I had somebody playing Cupid," he explained.
The NFL player went on to say that Swift is unlike anybody he's ever dated and that the two had bonded over their passion for family.
“Everybody knows I’m a family guy,” he said. “Her team is her family. Her family does a lot of stuff in terms of the tour, the marketing, being around, so I think she has a lot of those values as well, which is right up my alley.”
