Juwan Johnson, the New Orleans Saints tight end began his career for the Oregon Ducks and the Penn State Nittany Lions, where he met his future wife Chanen Johnson.
The two got married in 2020.
They met at Penn State when they were 20 years old, when Chanen was studying communication arts and sciences and Juwan was studying telecommunications.
They dated for two and a half years before getting married. In 2023, Juwan and Chanen welcomed their first child, daughter J'adore Blessing Johnson.
The pair routinely posts about their lives together on social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. Juwan honoured their 2020 wedding with a passionate shout-out to Chanen in one Instagram video.
"We are like the pieces to the jigsaw. Never the same but it happen to fit together," Juwan wrote in the caption. "I knew 2 1/2 years ago that eventually you’ll be my wife."

Joe and Sheryl Raygoza gave birth to Chanen on March 14, 1996, in Pomona, California. She relocated to Pennsylvania to attend Penn State University.
Chanen and Juwan met at Penn State, where Chanen played football for three years before transferring to the University of Oregon for his final year.
Chanen used to be a gymnast when she was small. She began gymnastics in middle school and went on to be a Junior Olympic National Team member, a VISA US National qualifier, and a Junior International Elite gymnast, according to the Penn State Athletics website.
Chanen continued gymnastics throughout her time at Penn State, and she participated in a 2014 video on the sports team's YouTube page, around the time she met Juwan.
Juwan and Chanen married on February 15, 2020, after dating for nearly three years. The newlyweds celebrated their wedding on Instagram, with the bride uploading a photo of them. "I am officially the happiest girl on the planet!!" "I am so fortunate to call you my husband," she captioned it.
Meanwhile, Juwan released a video montage of them picking up their marriage licence and beginning the wedding ceremony preparations.
“I want to take every bump, every challenge and every milestone with you. Thank you God that I can call you Mrs Johnson,” he wrote, in part.
Chanen and Juwan's daughter, was born on July 8, 2023.
A few days later, the NFL athlete posted a picture of Chanen holding her in the hospital on Instagram to announce the birth. "Welcome to our world, princess!" "Daddy will alwayssss be there for you and Mommy," he said.
Chanen had two miscarriages that year, the couple revealed at the end of 2022. They revealed their pregnancy a month later, at the start of the new year.
