"That’s so shocking to me that Patrick has never had it before,” said Kelly.
The singer mentioned, “I’d thought that would have been like a second or third around. We really messed that one up.”
“You know what? He’s ageing like a fine wine,” added Kelly.
After being named as Sexiest Man Alive on November 8, Patrick expressed his shock over the news, thinking, it’s a joke.

Patrick spoke to PEOPLE magazine, “It's nice to have the recognition, and certainly my ego takes a little bump, but it gives me the platform to use it for something positive.”
Meanwhile, the Sweet Home Alabama actor also shared insight into his children response to his new status.
“They're just going to make fun of me and pick on me and figure out every reason why I shouldn't be. Which is good, they keep me young,” he added.
