Robert Kraft is criticized by US journalist Tucker Carlson over Macklemore's removal from Ed Sheeran tour

Rapper Macklemore was removed from Ed Sheeran’s US tour for his pro-Palestine stance, a decision that has divided people in the US.

Commenting on the issue, journalist Tucker Carlson said the US rapper was cancelled by Jewish billionaire Robert Kraft.

Carlson said a media outlet tried to make it look like the decision was taken by the public but it was not.

“This is censorship by the Billionaire Epstein club. And by the way, yes, he is mentioned in the Epstein files. Look it up,” said Tucker Carlson.

Robert Kraft was mentioned in the US Department of Justice’s 2026 release of Jeffrey Epstein emails.

The late sex offender was in contact with defense attorney Jack Goldberger after Kraft was charged with soliciting prostitution in Florida in 2019.

Days later, Kraft added Goldberger, the lawyer who helped Epstein reach a non-prosecution deal with the Miami US Attorney's office in 2008, to his legal team.

Ed Sheeran's opening acts and his own band have also quit his US tour in solidarity with rapper Macklemore, who was cut from the musical lineup over his "free Palestine" remarks on stage criticizing Israeli government actions in Gaza and the West Bank.

The backlash from Sheeran's touring companions came after the English-born singer-songwriter, one of the world's top-selling ‌recording artists, distanced himself from Macklemore's ouster, saying on Tuesday the decision to dump the rap star came from tour organizers, not him.
