The musician has a hilarious response to a fan's cheeky request
Jack Antonoff seemingly did not like being recalled of his wedding song played at his 2023 nuptials with ex wife Margaret Qualley.
As per a video shared by USA Today, the singer was asked by an audience during his Bleachers concert at the Troubadour in Los Angeles on Tuesday to perform the song, Let’s Get Married, referring to his now-defunct marriage to Margaret.
The musician laughed and bluntly replied, “Absolutely not."
He then took a dig at him saying, “Read the news, brother.”
After Jack's response, the crowd broke into laughter.
The musician then shared that he “love[s] that song” and that he wrote it 11 years ago.
This came more than two months after multiple outlets reported that the former couple ended their marriage after less than three years of being together.
Jack's comment marked as first actual confirmation of his divorce from Margaret.
A source previously reported to People that Jack and Margaret's marriage was “rocky” and that they used to "argue a lot."
For those unversed, the couple began dating in 2021 and confirmed their engagement in May 2022.
Jack and Margaret tied the knot in August 2023.
The pair was last seen together in public at the Grammy Awards earlier this year.
