Princess Diaries star Julie Andrew is spilling her secret behind her active lifestyle at 90.

The kind of energy and passion Julie carries while she nears 100 is what people much younger than her desire for.

And it's due to the Sound of Music star's one simple habit is following for years: moving her body first thing in the morning.

Julie told Yahoo Life in a recent sit-down, "I have all my life worked out first thing in the morning or something like that, a little less so these days."

While her daughter, Emma Walton, thinks her curious nature also contributes to her active and healthy lifestyle. "I think it's because Mom is at heart a curious person."

"She stays very interested and very curious about creativity."

Agreeing with her daughter, Julie noted she is "still learning" things.

In a previous interview on the Wiser Than Me podcast back in 2024, Julie admitted she feels like she was in her 50s.

"Well, I probably feel like in my 50s, honest to God. As long as the brain holds out, I'm doing okay. You know, and I don't feel bad at all now." Julie told host Julia Louis-Dreyfus at the time.

This came after Julie made an announcement that she has no plans to reprise her role in the second installment of her hit movie The Princess Diaries

She told Today earlier this month, "I’m not going to be in it. I think the story is slightly different, and I’m not quite sure how they’re dealing with that.

Julie explained, "But it’s too late for me to do it. I think the story has to continue in Princess Mia. It’s her story. It’s not really mine.”

Julie Andrews portrayed the role of Queen Clarisse Renaldi in both parts of The Princess Diaries.
