Britney Spears is opening up about the 'scary' reality of her early fame days
Britney Spears is making a raw confession from her past fame days when her father, Jamie Spears, used to force her to meet people despite her asthma and shaky hands symptoms out of fear of meeting people.
The songstress, known as the princess of the pop world, took to her Instagram and shared a video of herself in a black "rock n roll" bikini.
Reflecting on how she did not like to wear it before,Britney admitted her personality has changed a lot over the years.
TheBaby One More Time singer said she has lost the essence of herself after being forced to meet a big group of people despite being "very sensitive and painfully shy."
TheOops!... I Did It Again hitmaker wrote in the caption, "I’ve actually changed big time. I honestly can’t believe I used to be able to perform in front of so many people. Good lord. I’m so sensitive and proud of myself for shutting all that down, ’cause for too many years it was forced."
"When I used to work with Felicia in my beginning days, I would get asthma and start shaking if I had to meet more than 10 people in a meet and greet. She could see in my eyes how scared I would get," she recalled, referring to her former assistant Felicia Culotta.
Britney recalled her "dad had her meeting 70 people" and eventually she "lost the sensitivity” of her "soul."
"And it literally hurt. I felt like a robot," she remarked.
Though Britney admitted that she still misses the real relationship she used to have with people, she is grateful that "it’s over" now.
