Thieves steal thousands in cards from Tom Brady's new store
A Tom Brady-affiliated trading card store in California has been burglarised just one week after its grand opening.
Police records show the CardVault by Tom Brady location in Palo Alto was broken into early Sunday morning after suspects shattered a window and damaged several display cases.
Around 60 trading cards were reportedly stolen, with an estimated value of more than $12,000. The suspects have not yet been identified or apprehended.
The store officially opened on August 15, marking Brady's 19th CardVault location.He became part owner of the CardVault franchise in early 2025.
Just days before the burglary, Brady had posed for a photo with local police officers who visited the new store, welcoming him to the neighbourhood.
This isn't the first time a CardVault location has experienced a burglary. A similar incident occurred at the company's New York City store last year, when thousands of dollars' worth of trading cards were stolen after a suspect manipulated a payment terminal to bypass a declined transaction.
