The highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto V1 exclusive preview will give enthusiasts a look at the upcoming game, as Netflix confirmed the event will feature footage captured on PlayStation 5.
The official look at Grand Theft Auto V1 gameplay is an in-depth investigation into the game though its launch has been overshadowed by the past week’s deluge of unprecedented leaks.
Despite developer Rockstar pushing with its own reveal plans, an extended look will now run for 27 minutes and will debut PS5 gameplay.
Sony and PlayStation have already forged a high-impact marketing alliance with Rockstar for the game through high-profile ads on the PS5 itself and messages telling PS4 owners that they will need to update their system for the next big release.
Earlier, the identity of the person responsible for speaking leaked footage of GTA 6’s world and their precise mode of action remains unknown.
The clips surfaced under the alias “Cyberleek” leaked from a site alongside a declaration calling on game companies to cease practices like digital pre-orders and as fake paid DLC.
The official statement from the GTA 6 reads: “Captured entirely from in-game footage on PlayStation 5, this extended look at the next Grand Theft Auto showcases the biggest, most immersive evolution of the series yet.”
Both companies have also stated that GTA 5 will perform best on PS5 presumably with the top-tier PS5 Pro leading the way.
