Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s social life has taken a hit amid renewed scrutiny over his past ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
According to latest report, the former Prince Andrew is now living a much quieter, lonelier life as a commoner after being stripped of his royal titles and duties.
Following King Charles’s decision to remove his "Prince" and "Duke of York" titles in October, the 65-year-old spends most of his time alone at Royal Lodge with very little to do.
Royal expert Simon Vigar noted that Andrew’s once-busy schedule of public events has completely vanished, leaving him with "lots of time to fill,” per The Mirror.
He noted that even his social life has taken a hit, revealing that the man formerly known as the "Duke of Golf" is being removed from various club memberships.
“There is obviously an element of tragedy. I don’t expect people to feel sympathetic for him, but there is a tragic element to this,” he said.
“In happier days, he was known as the Duke of Golf. I’m not sure how many golf clubs he’s a member of anymore. But it’s a lot of time to fill.”
He revealed that clubs are not removing Andrew from the list of members list, adding, “People just want to be disassociated from him.”
A source spilt to the Telegraph about Andrew’s routine at the 30-room mansion, saying, “He watches a lot of TV — he’s always done that.”
“He’s always been a bit of a couch potato,” they added.
