We love it when any new clothing brand is launched. However, nowadays there are just too many ‘desi’ clothing outlets opening up. Yes, some women need a break from the eastern attire that has been making rounds in all the malls. Many fashionistas crave trendy, unique and affordable western attire and unfortunately there are only a few stores that have good shirts and dresses available at a reasonable rate. This is why the launch of the clothing brand ‘Kulash’ by QnH is expected to create a rage in Karachi.
For those who don’t know, the brand QnH started off in 2000, as a brainchild of late Aamir Halai and his wife Kulsum Halai, promising to provide style and quality to children and women clothes in Karachi. Over the last 15 years, it kept on evolving towards further excellence and then ‘Kulash’ by QnH was launched in order to cater to the demands of young fashionable women offering them clothes that they can wear throughout the day.
The brand opened up with the aim to align with the tastes of urbanities and to suit every style with a mix of playful key trends and everyday pieces - from flirty boho and sporty cool to pretty sweet and elegant eveningwear. However, the philosophy of ‘Kulash’ is to introduce the international fashion trends and bring them to our local consumers instantly with affordable prices.
The launch event by Tehmina Khaled of Take-II was held at Dolmen Mall, Clifton, Karachi. The launch featured a small fashion runway presentation in which models strutted the ramp showcasing the clothes by ‘Kulash’. The hair and make-up for the models was done by talented make-up artist Huma Tahir.
Speaking about the launch and the collection, Kulsum Halai said, “Our design team realizes that Pakistani women are changing, the way they dress, use social media for checking trends and more importantly the way they shop is also changing. With ‘Kulash’ we have taken a step forward and the products, designs, and patterns are unique and affordable.”
