LONDON: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's open heart surgery will take place in a few hours at a hospital in London.
According to details, PM Nawaz Sharif stayed the previous night at his son Hussain Nawaz's residence. According to Hussain Nawaz, the Prime Minister will stay at the house for some time before leaving for the hospital.
It is expected that 24 to 36 hours after the PM's surgery, he will be shifted back to the house from the hospital. Special prayers were offered by the people ahead of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's surgery. Even Sharif's staunch opponent and political rival, PTI chief Imran Khan wished Nawaz health and a speedy recovery.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has been under immense pressure lately after opposition parties have stepped up their demands for him to resign and step down from public office, in light of the disclosures of the Panama Papers.
On Monday, PM Nawaz had chaired a meeting regarding the annual fiscal budget and also the National Economic Council via video link from Pakistan High Commission in London.
