Motoway Police foil bid to smuggle drugs

RAWALPINDI: The National Highways & Motorway Police (NHMP) foiled an attempt to smuggle huge quantity of drugs on Islamabad-Peshawar Motorway (M-1) and arrested a member of inter-provincial gang in early hours of Sunday.

 

On a tip-off, the NHMP patrolling staff recovered 10 kilograms of charas from Baccha Khan, resident of Bajur Agency near Burhan Interchange.

 

The Motorway Police, in other operation, arrested a car lifter and recovered Carrola Car ( VE 085 model 2012) stolen from Rawalpindi from him. The accused was handed over to Westridge police along with the seized vehicle. (APP)
