KARACHI: Pakistan s top fast bowler Muhammad Irfan was looking for par excellence performances during the trip to New Zealand and in the Cricket World Cup.

My mission and objective is to achieve good performances and bring glory and honor to country he told APP in an exclusive interview on Tuesday on the eve of his departure for New Zealand with Pakistan squad.

Muhammad Irfan who enjoyed successful series against Australia and New Zealand in United in the last ten wickets in all formats of the game was keen to maintain the momentum.

Conditions will suit my type of bowling both in New Zealand and Australia and I am looking forward to exploit the conditions to his best he said.

He said he enjoy playing against India and keen to make his mark in the opening game of World Cup against India Adelaide.

Every player is aware the importance of tense Indo Pak game and such big pressure games he maintained.

Though Pakistan team had lost all the World Cup ties in 1996 1996 2003 and 2011 but Irfan said they may change history and break the long standing jinx.

He said being great fast bowler himself chief coach Waqar Younis is guiding force behind his success.

It was always been great to learn legends like Waqar and work under his guidance the commented.
