NUST wins academic award

The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) has won Academic Integrity Award from Turnitin.
According to official spokesman, the Turnitin is a product of paradigms LLC, USA and it is subscribed for more than 100 universities/instit-utions in Pakistan for developing writing skills of the students, scholars and faculty members.
Turnitin claims to be the global leader in evaluating and improving student writing. The company’s cloud-based service for originality checking, online grading and peer review saves instructors time and provides rich feedback to students. One of the most widely distributed educational applications in the world, Turnitin and Ephorus is used
by more than 15,000 institutions in 140 countries to manage the submission, tracking and evaluation of scholarly work online.
The commitment shown by NUST for implementation of Turnitin to eradicate plagiarism and promoting integrity has been acknowledged internationally through this award. It is indeed recognition of consistent efforts endowed at NUST for implementing the plagiarism policy and eradicating malpractices in scholarly work.
