KARACHI: Ufone has launched its own online shopping portal, UMall, marking its entry into Pakistan’s e-commerce sphere, a statement said on Thursday.
The portal offers a wide range of products with various payment methods to choose from, it said.
This is a major initiative taken by Ufone towards completing the Mobile Ecosystem; following its footfall in the domains of voice, data, financial services and mobile governance, it said.
This initiative has been seen by the industry experts as a major move by a telecom operator, which will have a long-term impact on the positive growth of ecommerce industry in Pakistan.
