ISLAMABAD: Noted scientist Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan has suggested to the government that at least Rs2 million should be given to the heirs of each victim of the fire that had destroyed the factories in Karachi and Lahore. Talking to this correspondent, he said Rs300,000 was not a sufficient amount for the family that had lost the only bread earner. He said their monthly expenditure could not be met if the entire amount was deposited in fixed account in any bank.
