Police ordered to register FIR against MPA

Rawalpindi : The Additional District and Sessions Judge (ASJ) Rawalpindi Sardar Hamid Hussain has ordered to register FIR against a ruling party MPA, who tried to grab the land of an old lady.

The court has directed SHO Morgha Police Station to register an FIR against MPA according to sections 506, 149, 148 and 337/F-2. The court has given decision on an application of 22-A filed by a widow.

The applicant went to police to request to take action against MPA but in vain. The applicant filed an application of 22-A in court where the judge ordered to register FIR against MPA here on Wednesday.

Advocate Arshad Majeed Chaudhry told ‘The News’ that police did not help his client because accused was ruling party MPA. But, court has given justice and directed police to immediately register FIR against accuses, who not only tried to grab the land of a widow but also beat her sons on the occasion, he claimed.

According to application, filed by widow in court, that on May 23, 2021 the accused, along with his well-equipped guards, entered her land. “We tried to resist but MPA and his guards started to beat my sons on the occasion. The courts have already given decision in our favour but the MPA wanted to grab my land of 28-marlas.”

The applicant said that police did not help her but courts given her justice. “I am appealing Prime Minister Imran Khan to take notice against his MPA who wanted to grab the lands of poor people,” she demanded.
