This refers to the article, ‘For control or vanity?’ (November 14) by Babar Sattar. After reading the article one gets the impression that the writer believes that since the army chief started Operation Zarb-e-Azb, he holds full responsibility for dealing with militancy, extremism and terrorism in the country, including tackling purely civilian matters connected with the issue.
By implication, that means that the government should be left in peace to do what it is good at – bad governance.
