NAVTTC promises reforms in TVET sector
Islamabad : National Vocational and Technical Training Commission Chairman Syed Javed Hassan promised support and cooperation for the smooth conversion and implementation of the reforms in technical and vocational education and training sector in the country, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He was talking to KP chief secretary Mohammed Salim Khan during a meeting.
The NAVTTC chairman apprised the chief secretary on the recent developments in the TVET sector, including the roadmap developed for the skill development in the country in line with the vision of the current government.
He lauded the KP government for implementing the National Vocational Qualifications Framework through the conversion of all its traditional skills training programmes into competency-based training and assessment and creating a paradigm shift in the improving quality of the training.
