LAHORE: After resumption of flight operations from the Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore, the PIA has started its scheduled flights for domestic stations as well as international destinations.
In a press release issued on Sunday, a PIA spokesperson said that flights from Lahore to Karachi, Islamabad and Muscat had departed as per schedule, while the flight for Dubai will leave at 10:15am on Monday (today).
The airspace of Faisalabad was also opened by the Civil Aviation Authority on Sunday evening and the PIA flight operations from the Faisalabad Airport also resumed, the spokesperson added. PIA Chief Executive Officer Air Marshal Arshad Malik has issued instructions to all concerned to make arrangements for facilitating passengers at the earliest, the spokesperson added.
