Indian defence minister meets Abhinandan

NEW DELHI: Indian Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman met Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthman in a hospital on Saturday, the Indian media reported.
Earlier, Abhinandan had met with IAF Chief BS Dhanoa and explained his detention in Pakistan, reported ANI, quoting officials. The IAF pilot will be put up at the Air Force Mess, the report added.
Abhinandan landed in Delhi late on Friday night, hours after he was handed over to Indian authorities at the Attari-Wagah border near Amritsar.
