NEW DELHI: Indian’s have taken to Twitter to voice their criticism for their prime minister with #GoBackModi becoming the top trend in the country.
According to trend24.in, a website which tracks Twitter trends, #GoBackModi has been trending in India since Friday morning. The trend centres on Modi’s upcoming visit to Tamil Nadu with residents of the state making it clear that the Indian prime minister is not welcome.
There has also been criticism of Modi misusing the Indian armed forces for political gains. Another user on Twitter shared a picture of international news outlets discrediting Indian claims of targeting an alleged terrorist camp in Pakistan.
