Jinnah Avenue

The wide and spacious Jinnah Avenue has been reduced to just three lanes from five in order to accommodate the ‘heavenly’ metro buses. On the other hand, the track for metro buses has been made so wide that two buses can overtake each other in a particular direction.
How does the government expect to cope with the ever growing tsunami of traffic on Jinnah Avenue with reduced lanes? Are the people travelling in vehicles children of a lesser god? It is difficult to understand how the authorities concerned allowed this outrageous action.
