KARACHI: The JIT constituted by the Supreme Court to investigate Naqeebullah Mehsud's killing, has found the former SSP Malir Rao Anwar and his team of police officials guilty of extrajudicial killing of Naqeebullah Mehsud and three others, a private television channel, quoted sources as saying. The JIT report dubbed the killings of Naqeeb and three others, at the hands of police, as plain terrorism The JIT rules out Naqeebullah Mehsud's involvement in terrorism. The JIT, according to the sources, accuses Rao Anwar and other police officials of destroying all the implicating evidence from the crime scene. The ballistic report proves that the four victims were killed in two separate rooms and they were shot from a distance of 1-5 feet. The geo fencing and other evidence further establishes the presence of Rao Anwar on the occasion, contrary to his denials. According to the JIT, Rao Anwar failed in proving himself innocent. The JIT was headed by Additional Inspector General Irfan Pathan.
