Spring brings many social activities to twin cities
Islamabad: Spring is the most loved season for everyone when one can enjoy the most the moderate temperature in twin cities. The months March, April and May bring more activities in the social calendar before the onset of summer’s scorching heat. After much relief from the cold winter, people find much relief in this season if they are not bothered by pollen allergies. The clothes are lighter and brighter, and the nights are pleasant for good evening strolls. The city is full of greenery and blooming colourful flowers and trees. This season brings out more social activities so that people can enjoy the weather as well as the activities with their families.
People love to attend the activities like music festivals, spring festivals, fashion shows, cultural festivals, food festivals, lifestyle expo, Basant festivals, spring galas in this season. There are many activities like walk for a cause, spring walk, motor car rallies, vintage motor show, floral art competitions in which many families participate with full enthusiasm.
Due to the massive use of social media, various groups and clubs on every interest have been formed up to engage like-minded people to interact and share their activities on different interests. Many housing societies come up with garden competitions for their residents for the maintenance of their societies for overall looks and then awards and certificates are given to the best maintained gardens.
Spring walk engages participants to walk for a certain distance encouraging healthy activity and social interaction. Dog shows, bird shows are also held in spring also to engage the owners. Many brands keep their products launches in spring to attract maximum buyers.
