Broken roads
Residents of Islamabad and Rawalpindi regularly have to pass through the famous Mandi Mor located near sectors I-10 and I-11, Islamabad. Although it’s a beneficial place for the passengers who intend to travel outside the city, the area is a perfect example of all types of environmental pollution, including land, water, air and noise pollution and depicts the ignorance of people working there. Being a student I have to travel through this area on a daily basis, which is a source of extreme nuisance for me.
The disobedience of traffic rules by motorists often results in traffic jams. There is no traffic police to control the traffic. Street vendors have also installed their stalls in a disorganised manner on either sides of the road, which also contributes to traffic congestion. Additionally, broken roads have also caused immense problems to people. The CDA must take immediate action to resolve the matter.
