SCCI opposes salaries through bank accounts

PESHAWAR: Zahidullah Shinwari, president Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has criticised Labour Department’s attempt to implement payment of salaries through bank accounts under Section-6 of KP Payment of Wages Act and action against industrialists after December 1.He said that imposition of the act was impossible as business community would not accept it in any shape.
“We will resort to agitation, protests and approach courts if business community was intimidated or harassed by Labour Department in this regard,” Zahidullah Shinwari said.
