Shahbaz leaves for Turkey
Lahore: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, talking at the airport before his departure to Turkey, said that he is going to Turkey on special invitation of Turk President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
During his visit, he said, memoranda of understanding would be signed for enhancing cooperation in different sectors between Punjab government and Turkey. He said the friendship between both countries would touch new heights due to increasing cooperation between Punjab government and Turkey. He said there was a strong bond of mutual respect and affection between the two countries.
Shahbaz Sharif said that brotherly relations between Pakistan and Turkey were transforming into strong economic cooperation.The chief minister said that his visit to Turkey would result in promotion of ties between the two countries. He will also participate in inaugural ceremony of Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge in Istanbul.
