KP Assembly speaker condemns US attack on Iran
PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Speaker Babar Saleem Swati on Sunday condemned the unprovoked US attack on Iran’s nuclear installations.
“It is a grave violation of Iran’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, the UN Charter, and international law,” he said as per a handout.Swati stated that this aggression had come at a time when Iran was already facing hostilities from Israel. “ Such actions will only escalate regional tensions and endanger global peace,” he feared.
The KP Assembly speaker expressed full solidarity and sympathy with the people and government of Iran, emphasizing that the international community must take notice of this blatant aggression and play its role in ensuring peace and stability in the Middle East. Swati added that global institutions like the United Nations must not remain silent spectators and must play their role in upholding international law.
