GTA 6 Ad spotted before official summer marketing push
Rockstar have been famously secretive about their new game ever since its reveal two years ago
An unauthorised Grand Theft Auto 6 advertisement has surfaced at a mall in Dhaka, Bangladesh, a week before Rockstar Games' planned summer marketing blitz. The ad signals that the gaming world's most anticipated release is finally entering its promotional phase ahead of the November 19, 2026 launch date.
The Reddit user named Negative-Derivative has provided pictures of the GTA 6 ad seen in one of the Dazzle stores on May 23. Given that the game company hasn't initiated their marketing strategy yet, there is no doubt that this could be another sign of either independent actions from the retailer in terms of attracting more buyers or the beginning of the official campaign.
According to the rumours, the store might have decided to act independently by being the first retailer to post anything related to GTA 6 in order to draw more attention.
Rockstar have been famously secretive about their new game ever since its reveal two years ago. There have been only two cinematic teasers of the game released thus far.
During Take-Two Interactive's recent earnings call, executives confirmed that the summer marketing season would finally bring the information deluge fans have been waiting for: multiple trailers, posters, and promotional materials across major retail and digital platforms.
For months, there have been several leaks and rumours swirling around about the upcoming release of the new franchise, but the company has not officially released any new update yet.
