A widening difference of performance between the Punjab and Sindh governments has been observed over the past few years. If we compare roads, repairs and other areas, there appears to be a large gap in favour of Punjab and it is only getting bigger. While Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has taken many good initiatives for the betterment of the province, it has been felt that the Sindh government’s lacklustre performance is making things worse by the day.
Whether it is water issues or encroachments, the Sindh government does not appear to be paying attention to the problems facing the people. There is an urgent need for the provincial administration to step up its game.
