PINS starts providing MRI test facility to patients
LAHORE:The Punjab Institute of Neurosciences (PINS) Lahore, has started providing 24-hour MRI (test) facility to the patients and now PINS becomes the first public sector institution in Pakistan that is providing MRI facility to all patients without any discrimination.
This initiative is another milestone towards providing access the best health facilities to the public in line with the vision of CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz. Executive Director PINS Prof. Asif Bashir highlighted that the patients coming across country will get the facility of immediate diagnosis and will be helpful in starting the patient’s treatment without delay. He further said that now patients will not have to go to the private sector to get expensive tests like MRI.
Prof Asif Bashir also reiterated the commitment that the Neuro Institute will continue to provide high-quality medical facilities and diagnostic services to patients in the future as well. He said that the healthcare professionals of PINS are committed to the mission of providing the best and timely medical care and world-class diagnosis to patients.
This initiative of PINS is not only a significant step towards providing modern medical facilities but also a practical implementation of the government’s vision in the health sector. He said that the Punjab government will continue to create more and more facilities for patients with the available resources. PINS MS Dr Omar Ishaq, AMS Dr Adnan Khalid, Nursing Superintendent Asia Khanum and other doctors were also present.
