The man was injured after he was shot. He was shifted to the Taluka Hospital Matli in a critical state where he succumbed to his injuries. The victim was identified as Razaullah Nizamani.
According to Badin SSP Qamar Raza Jiskani, the victim had gone to a barber in Matli town on Sunday afternoon. After getting a haircut, he was walking on a road when the armed men shot him from behind. He was shot twice.
The SSP said the two bullets hit the victim’s abdomen, damaging the area between the heart and lungs, which led to his death. The officer added that Nizamani had filed a report a week earlier stating security threats to him, after which he was provided with two police personnel.
