PGMI doctors, nurses express solidarity with Pakistan army
LAHORE:Postgraduate Medical Institute (PGMI) Principal Prof Al-Fareed Zafar has said that Pakistan’s brave armed forces have once again proven that wars are won not merely through numerical strength but by unwavering faith, exceptional courage and professional excellence.
He was addressing the media and the participants of a solidarity walk organised by PGMI to express gratitude towards the Pakistan armed forces and pay tribute to the martyrs. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from MS Dr Faryad Hussain, Dr Shaista Mubeen, students from AMC and Nursing College LGH. The participants carried placards and chanted slogans in support of Pakistan’s Defence Institutions.
Prof Al-Fareed Zafar declared that the success of Operation ‘Bunyanum Marsus’ is a matter of national pride and a reflection of the unshakable will of 240 million Pakistanis. He stressed that Pakistan is a peace-loving country but remains fully prepared to thwart any form of aggression. Addressing the rally, Prof Al-Fareed Zafar highlighted the unity of the nation behind its military, noting that the Pakistani people stand shoulder to shoulder with their defenders like a fortified wall. He lauded the Pakistan Air Force for dismantling technology of advanced enemy aircraft and air defence systems, leaving even military experts from developed nations astonished by the precision and skill displayed.
Meanwhile, Punjab Industrial Estates Development and Management Company organised a rally and celebrated Gratitude Day on the success of Operation Bunyanum Marsoos and to pay tribute to the armed forces of Pakistan.
Chairman PEDMC Javed Iqbal, President Sundar Industrial Estate M Ahmed Khan, and President Sundar Trade Union Syed Maaz Mahmood led the rally from the Sundar Board office to Al Harmain Chowk.
A large number of industrialists and industrial workers participated in the rally. The participants of the rally were carrying the national flag and placards written in favour of the Pakistan army. The national anthem and slogans in favour of the armed forces were chanted during the rally.
Addressing the rally, Chairman PEDMC Javed Iqbal said that our armed forces have thwarted India's nefarious objectives and made the country's defence impregnable. It has been proven that Pakistan is not only self-sufficient in its defence but also has the full capability and courage to respond to the enemy on every front. He said that the befitting reply of our armed forces was not just a defensive action, but a clear message to the enemy that our silence should not be considered as our weakness. We want peace in this region, but for this, the integrity of our country will not be compromised at all. At the end of the rally, special prayers were offered for the peace and stability of the country and the nation.
