LAHORE:PPakistan Kidney and Liver Institute and Research Center (PKLI&RC) has been honoured with two major accolades - Tertiary Hospital of the Year – Pakistan and Specialty Hospital of the Year - Pakistan at the prestigious Healthcare Asia Awards 2025. Competing among Asia’s most renowned hospitals, PKLI stood out for its exceptional achievements as a leading transplant centre and academic institution for sub-specialty training.
Prof Faisal Saud Dar, Dean PKLI applauded the staff during the Townhall meeting, recognising their dedication and tireless efforts. He acknowledged that such accomplishments are only possible through a shared vision and unwavering commitment across the institution.
At the ceremony held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Dr Usman Aujla, Director Strategic Planning & Marketing and Chairman Gastroenterology, received the Tertiary Hospital of the Year award, while Dr Faisal Amir, Hospital Director at PKLI, accepted the Specialty Hospital of the Year award. Ms Kalsoom Ramzan, Director of Nursing, and Mr. Tariq Zaman, General Manager Marketing were also present at the event.
