Two agreed on coordinated efforts to improve the law & order situation
LAHORE: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with Pakistan Muslim League-N President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday and discussed matters of mutual interest, general law and order situation in Punjab.
The situation in the Katcha region and provincial border posts were discussed. Nawaz Sharif expressed the resolve to deal with Khawarij jointly. The two agreed on coordinated efforts to improve the law & order situation.
Meanwhile, President of PMLN Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz visited the graves of family elders at Jati Umra and offered Fateha following Eidul Fitr prayers.
Nawaz, accompanied by family members, performed Eid prayers at Jati Umra and later offered Fateha at the final resting places of Mian Muhammad Sharif, wife Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, and Abbas Sharif, praying for the forgiveness and spiritual elevation of the deceased. Flowers were also placed on their graves. Nawaz Sharif and Maryam attended a gathering of Mehfil-e-Milad Sharif.
