Minister reviews underground water tank construction

LAHORE:Provincial Minister for Housing and Urban Development Bilal Yasin visited different areas of PP-174 in walled city on Thursday where he inspected the construction of the underground water tank by Wasa in Kareem Park.

He also distributed rashan among deserving people, and listened to their issues. He said that funds are being provided through the Nigehban Package by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

While talking on this occasion, the minister stated that along with financial relief, people are also being facilitated through sahulat marakaz. He said that Punjab government is distributing Rs10,000 to deserving families through pay order across Punjab and this project will help a lot in reducing financial burdens of these families.

Bilal Yasin also interacted with local shopkeepers and urged them to support the Punjab government campaign against overpricing. He encouraged them to earn less profit during the blessed month of Ramazan and participate in this noble cause. He emphasised that the government is making every possible effort to provide relief to the public in all sectors.
